Jim Bakke ~ Lionshare Board Member
James W. Bakke is President of James W. Bakke & Associates which assists people with residential and mortgage related needs. Jim and his wife Lori have three children Josh, Calea and Jordan. Jim is an Eagle Scout BSA and is active in youth and young adult activities. He presently serves on numerous business and non-profit boards as well as coaches a number of soccer teams throughout the year. Jim and Lori are active in their local church and are passionate about mentoring the next generation of emerging leaders.

Sonya Crawford Bearson ~ Lionshare Board - Secretary
Sonya Crawford Bearson is a former broadcast journalist and Stanford Universtiy graduate, who now happily spends her time taking care of her husband Darren and young sons Ben and Josh. She is the daughter of Christian missionaries to South Korea, who began her career in broadcasting at the age of 16, working for the Korean equivalent of the "Today" show.  Sonya worked for many different media outlets including NBC News, ABC News, KNBC-TV, Orange County NewsChannel and Public Radio International/American Public Media.  Her most recent position was as a Washington D.C.-based correspondent for ABC News and has served on the boards of the Stanford Alumni Association and the Asian American Journalists Association.  She was also the director of "Moms in Step," a ministry for mothers at Woodridge Church in Medina, Minnesota for two years.  Her life verse is found in Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don't lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Cheryl Buehring ~ Co-Team Leader, Hospitality Coordinator and Distribution Manager cheryl@lionshare.org
‘Faithful, steady, sweet and wise’ – that is how people who know Cheryl Buehring describe her. Following her years as a missionary in Hawaii and Thailand with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Cheryl has spent the past two decades-plus giving of herself as a wife and mother. During that time she also gleaned much while serving as the wife of a pastor/leader, which she now invests in mentoring young women and leader’s wives.  Cheryl is also a gifted artist who is currently enjoying coffee painting, a regular guest at local shopping malls, and the best friend to her husband, Dave.

David Buehring ~ Founder & Team Leader
Dave Buehring is a devoted follower of Jesus who serves as the Founder and Team Leader of the Lionshare Leadership Group. Over the last three-plus decades he has served as a missionary, pastor, and leader while using his communication gifts to preach, teach and equip multitudes in the ways of God. Dave is committed to ‘making disciples that make disciple-makers’ within the ‘Dozen Domains’ of culture. His background includes working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), receiving a Masters Degree from Regent University, and spending two decades pastoring within the local church. He’s the visionary and author of a one-year disciple-making journey, A Discipleship Journey, a member of the leadership team of Messenger Fellowship and a part of the pastoral staff at Grace Chapel. Dave and his wife, Cheryl, reside in the beautiful hills of Franklin, Tennessee where they enjoy their family and friends.

Vicki Campbell ~ Executive Assistant to Dave Buehring & Lionshare Administrator vicki@lionshare.org
Vicki's aim in life is to honor God and ardently pursue Him while fulfilling His call on her life. Her passion is to assist leaders in their calling while helping others grow towards their God-given destiny. After working 31 years in the service industry, she retired to join Lionshare in 2007.  Her role gives her opportunity to create structure for the organization, work with leaders, and invest in others for Kingdom purposes.  She loves traveling and is a passionate reader.

McLauren Foster ~ Business Advisor
McLauren Foster’s life is marked by diversity – those who know her think of music, education, ministry and administration. After earning a degree in Music Education, she spent many years performing and teaching vocal music – both in Nashville and Europe – as well as singing in and directing choirs. While earning a Fellowship in Church Business Administration through NACBA, she was responsible for the business office – including human resources, legal compliance and financial oversight – for Belmont Church and their three million dollar budget. Her passion is to see ministries prosper by walking cleanly and with great integrity before God and the world. She has traveled extensively and loves to spend time with her overseas friends over a good cup of coffee.  She and her husband Jim have a son, Jon.

Becky Gilmore ~ Lionshare Associate / NetDMC Registrar
Becky Gilmore was born and raised in Michigan and is a Senior Systems Analyst for Little Caesars in Detroit.  Her life is focused around investing in children and young women to bring about life change and spiritual development.  She has worked with youth investing in them through baton twirling groups and camps outside the church and is currently raising up children to be warriors for God within her church.  She is also discipling women through A Discipleship Journey.  Becky is a passionate Detroit Tigers fan, intense reader and loves to vacation on a beach.

Bruce Heiser ~ Lionshare Board Chairman
Bruce Heiser is the founder of the Heiser Financial Group, which focuses on financial planning. Bruce serves as president of his own real estate investment company that owns and operates real estate across the country. His background includes playing and coaching professional baseball in both the U.S. and Europe as well as working in the telecommunications field while living in Europe. Bruce has a passion for emerging leaders and has led mission teams for several years to Baja, Hungary, in order to train young adults to better serve as leaders in their respective countries. He and his wife Cathy live in Thompson Station Tennessee.

Cathy Heiser ~ Worship Leader
Cathy Carter-Heiser has had the tremendous privilege of traveling to more than thirty countries – much of that while serving over a twelve-year period with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), spending nine of those years with Musicians for Missions in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Cathy has a few recordings out including one recorded in Nashville, entitled, So Long. She is one of the worship leaders at her home church, is presently running "point" for all things connected with Worship and Arts, and is the Director of Women's Ministries as well.   Cathy continues to remain involved in missions, leading teams in overseas outreaches and teaching on worship. One of Cathy’s greatest passions is mentoring young adult ladies, encouraging their leadership qualities and the great potential that she sees in each one of them. She also teams with her husband, Bruce, in his company, Heiser Financial Group.

Dinah Hodgson ~ A Leadership Journey Guide
While initially trained as a registered nurse, Dinah received a Bachelor's degree in Christian leadership after serving the local church in a myriad of leadership roles.  Dinah is passionate about being used to advance the kingdom in Christian's lives through teaching, prayer, and counseling, as well as through encouraging and supporting other leaders. Currently, Dinah is assisting her pastor start a new association for local pastor's called Freedom Hill, which serves to promote unity among local pastors, revitalize struggling churches, and be a resource to supply kingdom assets to area churches.  She has also created and now co-manages a resale boutique for the local hospital auxiliary, which uses the funds for special projects within the hospital and community.  Dinah and her husband, John, reside in Pennsylvania and have been blessed to travel the world for recreation, short-term missions, and professional purposes. They have three grown biological children, Matt, Chris, and Catie, and an adopted son, Almad.

Mike McAteer ~ Lionshare Associate - West Coast
Mike McAteer was raised in Southern California and has been a rock ‘n roller since his pre-teen days. He has toured throughout the USA and Europe in bands as a bass/lead guitar player, worked as a producer and artist manager, and currently serves as associate pastor/ Principal at Mission Viejo Christian Church and School.  Mike’s greatest passion is that of discipling and mentoring those God has brought in to his life, allowing him to glean from his Masters work in biblical studies, his own journey and adventures in life and leadership. Mike,  his wife Liselott and their three children currently reside in Mission Viejo, California.

Deborah McMillan ~ Prayer & Personal Ministry Leader
Deborah is a woman who is passionate for God and for people to experience God’s purposes in their lives. Her years of working in both the ministry and marketplace arenas have uniquely prepared and paved the way for her to serve as a counselor, teacher and mentor to many. She has often been a featured speaker for various churches and organizations where she is able to share her life message of walking in freedom. Deborah is the Founder and CEO of Garden Gate Ministries, and is an associate with Messenger Fellowship. Deb, and her husband Ben, reside in Cottontown, Tennessee where they enjoy their family.

Gabriel Smith ~ Lionshare Board - Treasurer
Gabriel is the founder and CEO of Legacy Learning Systems, a leading innovator in music and arts instruction. His award-winning "Learn & Master" series set a new standard for comprehensiveness in at-home music instruction, and its associated mobile app recently won "Best Branded App" at the Billboard Music App Awards.

Dan Sneed ~ Lionshare Board Member
Following his many years of pastoring Foursquare Churches in the Los Angeles area, Dan Sneed currently travels the world as a Bible teacher and conference speaker, ministering to leaders, while also advising numerous non-profits as a Board Member. His clear and gentle prophetic gifting, along with an easy and excellent teaching style – seen both in his speaking and writing – make him a favorite wherever he goes. He is the author of a book entitled, The Power of a New Identity. Dan often teams with Lionshare to shape leaders through leadership mentoring opportunities like A Leadership Journey and NetDMC. Dan and his wife, Bev, live in Thousand Oaks, California.

Heather Zempel ~ Lionshare Board Member
Heather is a native Alabamian, who invested her parents’ money and six years of her life at Louisiana State University earning bachelors and masters degrees in biological engineering. She finally left Cajun country to apply her newly acquired skills as a consultant at an environmental engineering firm and later as a policy adviser in the United States Senate. She now engineers environments that foster community and spiritual growth as the discipleship pastor at National Community Church in Washington, DC. Heather and her amazing husband Ryan can be found on Capitol Hill enjoying theater (from the audience or the stage) and settling arguments with Webster’s Dictionary.
