About Us
The Lionshare Leadership Group was launched by Dave & Cheryl Buehring in 2001 as a Franklin, Tennessee based 501(c)3 non-profit organization aimed at discipling and developing godly leaders within church life and culture via relationship, equipping experiences, and strategic resources.
Lionshare’s first decade (2001-2010) included:
- Hosting one-week intensives over a span of five years for youth groups and youth pastors, Acts Alive
- Hosting five 9-12 month intensives for godly leaders serving within the Dozen Domains of culture – A Leadership Journey
- Hosting two five-day Leaders GetAways enabling leaders to be refreshed and realigned
- Bringing together six ‘fathers of the faith’ – Jack Hayford, Henry Blackaby, John Perkins, Loren Cunningham, Lloyd Ogilvie and Winkie Pratney – for a historic gathering and taping at The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove.
- Release in 2009 of our Leadership Kit, Conversations with Fathers of the Faith
- Release in 2010 of our Small Group Kit, Fathers of the Faith: Wisdom for Difficult Times
- Launching a growing global network of disciple-makers focused together on a decade-long ‘2020 Vision’ – NetDMC
- Holding multiple one-day disciple-making workshops and ‘fathers of the faith’ gatherings throughout the country
- Prototyping and launching a one-year disciple-making journey for local churches that will equip them to make disciples – via A Discipleship Journey
