This companion booklet to A Discipleship Journey, also written by Dave Buehring, is being used effectively by various churches and organizations to help "jump-start" the Christian walk of brand new believers in the context of godly relationships and discipling. Some highlights from this booklet include:
- Formatted as a thirty-day equipping devotional – it provides content for 5 days over a period of 6 weeks.
- Chapters on such basics as getting to know God, applying the Scriptures, connecting to their new church family, baptism, living as a disciple of Jesus – all while searching out the Scriptures for themselves.
